| Do you remember the first thing you ever drew? |
| The oldest memory that I keep in my mind are the color pencils on a drawing board. I do not remember what I drew that time. I just have the image of the pencils while it was in the arms of somebody. Possibly my mother. The oldest drawing I have is a Wolverine of 1983. I had 2 years old when I made it. |
| The flow of lines, dynamism and blocks of bright colors are present in all your work. Can you narrate us your love story with the color and lines? |
| The world is colorfull and dynamic. I represent what I feel with my senses. I am addicted to images and colors. Images that excite the senses. When I am drawing, I try to express the feeling of the moment or the subject. It is a game of emotions, so much more for the object that is being reproduced than for my own. |

| São Paulo is a city that is characterized by good graphics, How this has influenced you in the beginning of your career? |
| I'm influenced by the city for sure! But I can not say what is it specifically . Everything has influenced to me. It is a very dynamic city, maybe is that. |
| About the style of your illustrations. What influenced you to develop these creative concepts? |
Like I said before, I reproduce what I fell and see. Its very natural. Everything that is in contact with us will influence, some hours more, some hours less. I try to focus my attention on the nature of the spirit... ops... genius and material. I prefer to use the word 'genius' because spirit can be in interpreted like something material and I dont believe in it. |
| How long does it takes you to find your own illustration style? |
| This history of a selfstyle dont exist. All artists were influenced since the Paleolithic age. Like I said, everything influence. If somebody had a selfstyle, this guy died 40.000 years ago. I've been drawing for 25 years and in each year my art has changed something, it transforms. It doesn't petrifies. The day i say "this is my style", you can arrest me, because i will killing the art. |

| How would you define your style in three words? |
| Simple, fluid and beauty |
| What is the spark of inspiration to develop these beautiful Illustrations? |
I seat in front of the computer and start to draw. There is no mystery. In art, many people like to mystify and I understand it, because the piece lose its value and there are many people worried in gain money with it. But mystery does not exist. I draw since I was very young, every day, all the time. I am passionate by the beauty and in each new painting I try to surpass myself.
To get a little bit closer to the ideal of beauty that I keep inside of me. Everyone have an ideal and mine is to reach the beauty that noone already made. Nor the Greeks, nor the renascentists. I devote my life to this. |
| "The society nowadays lives in a moment of cult of beauty. I am the representation of this in art" |
| What is the process that you follow, from the beginning of an abstract concept until the end of a work? |
I feel that i have to design something or have a saved idea. At a certain moment I feel that is the right time, then I seat in front of the computer and start to draw. Later I add the colors and finish in about 1 or 2 hours.
The process itself is very fast. What it comes before the creation is very important. It's the moment that the idea is latent inside of me and being elaborated unconsciously. While more time I keep my attention in the idea, more bigger will be the result. |

| What kind of projects excites you more? |
| My persoanl projects... my drawings, photographs and sites. |
| What is the greatest satisfaction that illustration has given to you ? |
| The power to express myself. There is no better power than this one. |
| What do you do when you're not working? |
| I like to read, think, take photos, play video-game, hang out with my girl, look the nature. But most of time I'm reading. More than drawing. |

| How do you see yourself reflected in about 10 years? |
Probably I will have the same calm life that I have now, but 10 years more mature, artistic and intellectually. I want to continue painting and learning about the human nature. |
| Can you tell us some funny anecdote that nobody knows when you did a job? |
| I have the obssession to walk around the house. Sometimes is difficult to hold this obssession. In the middle of a drawing I stand up and go to walk... after 2 hours I come back already tired and continue the work. I don't know if it's something funny, it is just a fad. I stop a bit to refresh my head... to think... relax the eyes. |
| What are you doing now? Can you tell us something about some new project that you have? |
| I have some projects rolling to big companies of wich i cannot speak about. For the next year I want to publish a book of drawings. They are more than 100 nudes and sex drawings that i want to publish with some poetries. It is a beautiful and delicate work. I hope people like it too. There still remaining a lot of drawings, I have 1 year to work left. |
