He's an illustrator born and raised in Puerto Madryn, Patagonia Argentina. He studied fine arts at "Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Manuel Belgrano", Buenos Aires, but consider himself as self-taught. From very young, Alex started to publish comics and illustrations in the legendary "Fierro" magazine. Back in his hometown he spent some years dedicated to painting and teaching illustration and comics to young people. Just somewhere in 2006 Alex decides to be a fulltime illustrator.
Actually he's working mostly for children's books and creating illustrations for design agencies. Some of his clients includes Ed. Sudamericana, Ed. Puerto de Palos, Ed. SM, Harper & Collins, La Comunidad, Fallon, Ministerio de Educación, Booth-Clibborn Editions, Ponieman & Murlender, and others. |
